What is Common Digs?
Children's Commons Ecological Society (CCES)/Calgary Nature Kindergarten was founded by the educators and families of Common Digs Forest School. The two organizations are separately operated but continue to work in close collaboration with one another.
Common Digs is a social enterprise committed to connecting people to the natural world through hands-on programming. They offer both licensed (approved and partially funded by the Ministry of Children's Services) and recreational Forest School programs for children ages 2+ in a variety of settings in Calgary and Okotoks.
Currently, many of the families at our Rosemont/Confederation Park location sign up for Common Digs Forest School on their child’s off-days from Calgary Nature Kindergarten as both programs run out of the same building.
